The 'Heron' Course - Malsis School, North Yorkshire
A 3-day non-residential course offering pool kayaking, pool raft-building, bushcraft skills (knife skills, saw skills, knots, fire starting, shelter building) and adventure cooking. Participants keep knives and fire starters - with parental 'say-so'!10am - 5pm daily.

The Malsis School Year 8 Leavers' Trip - Lake District
A five-day trip to the Lakes as part of the Malsis School Year 8 Leavers' programme. Invitation only. Climbing, abseiling, mountain walking, Ghyll Scrambling, canoeing and kayaking - based at Ambleside Youth Hostel. A Malsis School trip, arranged by MeRP Adventure.

The 'Beaver' Bushcraft Survival Camp - Malsis School, North Yorkshire
Three days in the woods, 'Ray Mears' style. Sleep in a hammock for one night and a tentipi for the other; make fire, learn knife skills, build shelters, adventure cooking (experience an army ration pack!), kayak and canoe skills - you get the idea! This camp will take place in the grounds of Malsis School. It suits boys and girls aged 9+. Participants keep knives and fire-starters - with parental 'say-so'!

Malsis Adventure Week - Malsis, North Yorkshire
Malsis offers this course in association with MeRP Adventure. It is aimed at youngsters aged 11-15 who want to spend a little more time specifically engaged in particular outdoor pursuits. The course is based at Malsis School but activities may also take place 'off-site'. Activities include pool kayaking, kayaking and canoeing on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, the RAP tree High Ropes facility, rope crossing, First Aid, bushcraft, fire starting and camp cooking. The course runs daily from 10am - 4pm. Participants keep knives and fire-starters - with parental 'say-so'!
